New Zealand Native Birds
The birds of New Zealand have always been a strong inspiration. My interpretation of the cheeky fantail, Piwakawaka, has been a popular purchase over the years. Other birds include the Tui, Kereru, Kingfisher, Hihi (Stitchbird), Kokako and Ruru. The Ruru, Kokako and Hihi may be viewed under Objects.
For the past two years I have been spurred on to make more birds due to my association with Tiritiri Matangi Open Sanctuary to help raise funds and awareness of our precious and endangered species. To date these projects have been on the Hihi (Stitchbird) and the Kokako, see the media page for more information.
While on Tiritiri you are faced with a rowdy number of Tui which I have rendered into a set of three flying off.
Combinations of these birds with other wall art shapes are able to be arranged in the Wall Art APP. Order from us or your local stockist.
Available in a wide range of colours. If a colour you like is not showing please order one that is showing and write your colour choice in the comments section when you order.
